IMPAKT Centre for Media Culture

IMPAKT is a media arts organisation based in Utrecht, NL, that presents critical and creative views on contemporary media culture and arts in an interdisciplinary context. It aims to identify urgent issues in digital and transglobal culture by focusing on the relationship between society, media, technology and arts; examining issues around politics, science and popular culture.

NEUG is an international organisation of artists creating and showcasing disruptive and provocative work that challenges the structures and presumptions that permeate the art world. Founded in Mexico City and now with an active branch in The Netherlands, recent events have included art exhibitions, collaborative performances, life drawing sessions, and the infamous Buy or Burn auctions.

About

Andrej Kapor is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and multimedia storyteller specialising in creative production across diverse fields.

As an author, Andrej’s work explores themes of rebellion, sensuality, and the divine, blending dark humour with influences from his multicultural heritage. As a publisher and broadcaster, he champions community-building and amplifies marginalised voices to drive cultural and social transformation.

Andrej earned a BA in Visual Communications from IADT (Dublin, Ireland) and an MA in Media, Art, and Performance Studies from Utrecht University (Utrecht, Netherlands). He hosts The Ramshackle at De Nijverheid, Under the Albatross on Birdcage Radio, and the poetry programming of Ten Club. An international curator of The Poetry Brothel, and chair of the board at Moira Cultural Centre, Andrej is deeply engaged in global artistic initiatives.

Based in the Netherlands, Andrej Kapor has recently collaborated with Streem Media, The Poetry Society of New York, IMPAKT Centre for Media Culture, and Bloomsday Festival, among many others. His work has been published, exhibited, and toured internationally.
